Missouri State Legislature

The House and Senate are returning to Jefferson City next week to approve funding on the supplemental spending bill approved by the House on March 18th. The bill included $40 million for emergency coordination re COVID-19 by the Department of Health and Senior Services. The Senate needs to significantly increase this amount to account for the money we are receiving from the federal CARES Act. After the Senate passes the amended bill, the House should approve this new Senate version on Wednesday.
