The City of Maplewood, Missouri, population 8,046, a suburb of St. Louis, is accepting resumes for the position of Community Development Director.
The position reports directly to the City Manager and manages and develops economic development initiatives. Duties include managing the City of Maplewood Special Business District (SBD), all city social media platforms, the city’s web page, the development and production of a city-wide newsletter, business attraction and retention, planning and organizing all City of Maplewood and SBD events, and continually developing new events and initiatives to make Maplewood a shopping, dining and entertainment destination and a great place to live.
